FrankM
HI, I have a Blackstar Fly 3, with extra speaker, which I am using as a practice amp for my EUB. Am just wondering if it's worth getting the Fly 3 Bass version. Will it make any difference? Or should I go for a Laney Mini-BASS-NX or Joyo 10w mini amp? instead? I'm after a micro amp that I can carry around in a shoulder bag and only needs to amplify my EUB up to unamplified double bass level, so if there is another good option, please let me know.
Jean-Luc Pickguard
I don't know about the Blackstar, but If the aim is to spend as little as possible on a bass practice amp, I would go for this Ashdown Tourbus 10 -> https://www.cashconverters.co.uk/shop/music-tv--video/musical-instruments/amps--stage-equipment/guitar-amplifier/046100161066 If the budget is (quite) a bit more I'd look for a secondhand Roland MicroCube Bass RX, which is what I have and use daily, including with my NS-Design CR-5M EUB.
