I saw this on ebay for 149.00

I know it's a amp head and I don't have a cabinet but it has headphone socket and aux in (for tablet/phone) so I could use this with just headphones until i got a cabinet or does it have to be connected to a cabinet before I can use headphones ?

Cheers for all the help and advice 👍 Screenshot_20241007_201824_eBay.thumb.jpg.a43589800f1e54200852c8e8d61f60f5.jpg

I've never heard of a solid state amp that you can't use without speaker connected.

This looks nice. Plenty power!

Cheers I may make an offer for it 👍

Thanks for all your help much appreciated 🙏

Next week: power ratings! Phil Starr and Bill Fitzmaurice are absolute authorities on the subject. Hear what they say.

In speakers I would agree, however for amplifiers, @agedhorse and to a lesser extent, myself can probably help more.

Go for it. Find yourself (one day) a 100watts @ 8ohm cab (ask on here in Items Wanted) and you’re good to go
