Sammybass
I know this is an incredibly long shot but hey it’s worth a try. A small component on the bridge has snapped - probably not surprising for a 40 year old bass. It’s a cast piece that holds the ball-end and goes under the fine-tuner. I realise the chances of finding a replacement are slim. Does anyone have any suggestions? Could I get one machined? Any help is appreciated! 😬

PaulThePlug
You might need to remove the bridge to show a good and the bad adjuster saddle. Ha... pics appear as i post.. Maybe a 3mm Stainless nut to catch the Ball end and anchor in the adjuster for block better? Edited September 27 by PaulThePlug

itu
Looks like a doable one, but has to be done from solid brass or steel. Al will break. A broken one is not worth repairing, but would be an excellent model for a machinist.
NancyJohnson
I think you'll struggle to find original parts for a Integra or even a specific bridge for whatever particular year/model that one actually is. If it was mine, I'd scrap the desire to retain originality and just pop a replacement bridge in...it would also be quicker and likely more cost effective as well. I wouldn't worry about holes not lining up or anything; stick a Hipshot Kickass on it.

The issue with that is the bridge is recessed into the body, so sticking a different bridge in there is problematic. A local engineering company is making me a set of replacement parts so fingers crossed it’ll all work out with the original bridge.
