 If we are talking 82 then this was an absolute banger back then,okay it's a synth bass again but what the hell it's a mammoth sounding Bass Track all the same. Jazz funk mastery in it's finest form.

Who needs a bass guitar when you can do serious sequenced stuff - this used to get us out on the dancefloor back in '82. Even saw him "live" at the Warehouse in Leeds in '83 - very funny guy as well (RIP)

Divine sounds like a slightly less industrial version of Cabaret Voltaire crossed with Grand Master Flash.  I took pictures at GMF's first gig (I think) in the UK about this time.  I remember the Leeds audience not quite knowing what to make of most of it, including Don't push me, cos I'm close to the ........edge.   This thread is bringing back all sorts of fab memories...please keep it coming!

Take a copy of “The Pursuit of Accidents”, close your eyes and stick a pin in the track listing.

Eyes Waterfalling is particularly great.
