Mickyk
If we are talking 82 then this was an absolute banger back then, okay it's a synth bass again but what the hell it's a mammoth sounding Bass Track all the same. Jazz funk mastery in it's finest form.

stewblack
It's a difficult choice because the best player working in the 80s played some amazing bass lines in 82. I guess this is right up there, but the whole album is a lesson in the art. https://youtu.be/nSdMxWjnq5s?si=5uGMSUlLA-BSkQCy

Leonard Smalls
Who needs a bass guitar when you can do serious sequenced stuff - this used to get us out on the dancefloor back in '82. Even saw him "live" at the Warehouse in Leeds in '83 - very funny guy as well (RIP)

I took pictures at GMF's first gig (I think) in the UK about this time. I remember the Leeds audience not quite knowing what to make of most of it, including Don't push me, cos I'm close to the ........edge. Grassie
Take a copy of “The Pursuit of Accidents”, close your eyes and stick a pin in the track listing. Eyes Waterfalling is particularly great.
