New pre amp day (Trace Elliot)

So I've wanted one of these for a bit, especially since getting a battered but functional trace ra 300 power amp.

Here's the thing though. I didn't purchase this on evilbay or any other e commerce outfit.

Arrived by courier and was left with my neighbours for some time. Till I knocked to grab a pair of headphones and was Informed this had been in their way.

 

I've kept the return address so will be able to write to the person in Wokingham who sent it.

Immaculate apart from eq sliders missing little rubbery bits and red and green caps for gain and master.

Mysterious,  so I will write and a ) thank him b) check it isn't an ebay error and it's gone to me incorrectly.

I'm guessing it might have been a v generous Basschatter person but I Am really flummoxed either way

 

It sounds fab tho only used as a headphone amplifier so far....

OK,  mystery solved. Inadvertently bought and paid for this on an OLD Ebay account. 

It is a 200 watt amp from a gp12 combo so it will still be useful.

Deserves a post on the sozzled random Ebay purchase thread. Or you have bigger issues. The excuse there is the random thing has no real use to the bassist. Yours is your memory is shot.
