Might be of interest to some. Very cool look at Mike’s beat up old Gibson. 
 

To me, it seems the Grabber/Ripper has become super popular in the last 12 months or so… 

 

I feel like it’s something I’ve barely seen for half of my playing life and then the last 12 months I see them everywhere. 
 

But, that doesn’t mean it hasn’t been as popular for ages, just from my small window into the bass world it feels like it’s having its moment in the sun.

Interesting that he had to get some made by Epiphone because Gibson can’t make bolt-on necks anymore.

 

I do love that he’s been playing a Grabber for the Dookie songs on this tour.
