In the same way as posting pics in the DoI..? What issues are you having..? Error messages, or unable to create a post to put the pics in..?

Can you drag & drop them into the post?

(There's recently been a suggestion or rule that pics have to include a Post-It with identifying info.)

If I try drag & drop, it tells me the file is oversize - when I post pics on forum I usually copy & paste .............

What is the file size..? If it's very high resolution, could you reduce it, using picture editing software such as Imgur..?

Yup, just a plain ol', common or garden photo. I see no reason why it can't be posted to a 'For Sale' ad that's been opened. It's a bit hi-res, though; try this one instead..?

This is what I can't make sense of -

Ignore that - it just means that whichever picture you put in your advert first will be used in the thumbnail when viewing the whole sales forum. 
 

RE the above - save the pic then add it to the sales thread instead of copy/paste.

That just means 'set the first image in the post as the preview image'

Ignore that pesky little 'Auto' box, and insert the photo in exactly the same way as in all of your other posts, and it will work. That 'Auto' box is of no utility with your one, solitary photo. Pretend it's not there.
Does it all work, now..?
