FS: Fender Classic 50s Precision Neck - £225 £250 Glasgow

Fender Classic 50s Precision Bass neck, maple fingerboard. Made in Mexico, 2004, the precursor to the current Vintera line. Tinted lacquer finish, 7.25" radius, 44mm nut width. Looks a lot more tanned in the pictures than it is in real life. In very good condition overall, with only one notable ding on the back of the neck, a bit of clouding around the tuner hole of the top string (G) which can only be seen from certain angles, and a scrape on the treble side corner of the heel from an aluminium pickguard that was slightly too tight. I bought this on here a year ago but I'm switching the neck for one with a rosewood fretboard.

These necks are absolutely brilliant (if you like a 44mm nut width - this might be the neck for you). Lovely build quality and finish.
Personally, I think it looks superb on that body... I'd leave it there

It's a really great neck, and if I don't find a suitable swap for it then I'll be happy enough to keep hold of it, but I feel like a change and think a rosewood board and tort guard would look great on this.
