ACG Finn singlecut price drop now £870.00 - *SOLD*
£899
South Essex nr M25

Recommended Posts

Up for sale is my ACG Finn singlecut. It's short (described elswhere as medium ?) scale at 32" and very friendly to play, balances nicely on the strap. It's in great condition, I can't find a mark on it anywhere

There's more tonal range than you may expect from a single pickup, probably due to the very flexible on board pre- amp.

It's priced to sell at £899.00, which is a fair bit less than I paid for it. If it doesn't sell soon I'll withdraw it, as it's a lot of bass for the money and it's a bit special. It's so comfortable to just sit and noodle you'd hardly know it was there (I know that doesn't make sense, but you know what I mean)

Here's the spec;

CG Finn SingleCut 2 piece ash body with black veneer

has the AC FB Humbucker  and John East preamp fitted with low battery indicator

Scale length 31.5"

3 piece maple neck, Ash body

Acrylic Impregnated Maple fretboard

Gotoh GB350 Resolites

ACG/Hipshot custom made bridge

Dunlop Dual Design Straplocks

ACG Dual Action trussrod

Neutrik Jack socket

Neck width at nut = 40mm, string gaps at nut = 10mm

Width at bridge = 63

Weight = 3.47 kg

More pictures to follow

Collection is preferable, but will courier at buyer's cost

Everybody should own an ACG...at least for a while to appreciate Alan's handiwork.

I concur. I currently have 3, and will have a 4th arriving in 2025 because I’m a massive tart :)

GLWTS @essexbasscat this is a lovely bass!

That Harlot is amazing, as far as I know it's been owned by The Greek, Frank Blank, Ziggydolphinboy and now me, where it will be stopping ! I'm not surprised everyone would like it back, it really is that nice. Alan's work is first class and this bass is no exception

Lovely. Very glad I'm not in the UK at the moment so I'm not tempted.

Number 325 in the ACG Lab if anyone wants more details. https://acguitars.co.uk/project/0325finnclassic4/

Lovely looking bass and yes, ACGs are, in my experience, beautifully made.

Just be mindful that the specs listed on the website are slightly different from yours above 👍🏻

Glwts (although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted...)

@Gnermo Anyone who has played an ACG will tell you they sound superb. I have the same preamp on my Recurve and the tonal variety is incredible. If you're on the fence for a first ACG, take the plunge. As others have said, everyone should own an ACG at some point, just for the pleasure. Light wood is really not my thing aesthetically and I have a lovely ACG shortie already but I still keep coming back to look at this...

I have one, but someone butchered it by taking out the filter pre. :)
