Rob Allen Fretted Mouse #1181 - alder body, walnut top, walnut neck and Indian rosewood fretboard.  It has a couple of small marks but it plays well and looks great.

Bought on this forum from Burns-Bass at the back end of 2021.  I believe that prior to that it was owned by FrankBlack who had the pencil thin mandolin frets swapped for larger ones, giving better fretting and enabling you to use a wider range of strings.

These are currently selling for $4000 + new. Reason for sale is that I have just made the leap up to DB and I am starting to move on some of my short scales – and I have a fretless mouse, which I will keep hold of for a while.

Collection only from the burbs of the Cronx (aka Croydon, South London)

(Hope you don't mind me using your pics Lawrie, will upload some more as soon as...)

Feel free to use the pics. I can attest that this used to be mine. We handed over in person at the height of the pandemic.

Its a stupidly good bass.

Many thanks, much appreciated. Yes, a very quick hand over if memory serves - even managed to jump back on the same train that took me westward 🙂 Really enjoyed owning and playing this one.  Hope all is well with you and yours....
