...combined perfectly with the folly of youth.  I think that I should let you decide between you who fills which role :)

@ead

@80Hz

@GreeneKing

@stevie

@nekomatic <-- TBC

Food will be provided, in the form of pizza. So if anybody has any dietary preferences such as vegetarian or allergies please let me know, so we can cater for you. You are also welcome to bring your own food. There is a full kitchen and (I think) a microwave.

Tea and coffee will be on tap all through the day.

There's no issues if other people want to come or bring friends. @zbd1960 are you coming down?

Looking forward to this. Band diary has nothing booked in May surprisingly.

I'll be bringing:

Gibson Ripper

Gibson NR Thunderbird

Sandberg Electra

Lakland DJ

Can bring my Markbass LM58R head and 2x10 cab(s) if anybody is interested in the new lightweight stuff. Or, a smaller setup of a TC Electronic BH250 and 1x10 Epifani cab if required.

Ooh, as a lugger around of the previous gen stuff (IV), I'd be interested to check out the new MB stuffs.

That sounds great. Bring what you wish, we'll have space and it gives people a chance to try stuff out. I'd be interested in the lightweight setup but I suspect all is of interest.

If you're coming from Liverpool, I'd probably come all the way up to J36 on the M6 rather than coming off at Lancaster and threading your weight through the countryside via Wennington and Bentham. My eldest was in Alder Hay for a while so we got to know the Clapham to Liverpool journey very well for six months or so.

Not 100% sure what I'll bring, but probably these:

Ahh cool, gear confirmation time.  Not much time to change between then and now so I think it's pretty safe to nail these to the mast...

G&L CLF L-1000, Yamaha BB1200, Sire D5, Sire Z7, Greco LGB-700, Reverend Triad, Epiphone Les Paul (not so) Standard, Epiphone Thunderbird '64, Squier Jaguar H (with Ibanez CAP double humbucker from ATK200/800 etc), Gear4Music rat bass (with Lace Aluma-P), Epiphone Em-bassy (with Entwistle PBXN neodymium), 1 or 2 amps depending upon space...

Have you changed car since last year? Or still playing Tetris?

Same car.  The answer to the question "how do you fit all that in a 2011 Mitsubishi Colt?" is... me.

Lots of interesting tidbits in here...

I'm looking forward to seeing your L-1000 and Z7 in particular.. oh and that awesome Greco!! Also looking forward to hearing a Lace Alumatone and some Entwistle neos in the wild!

At the moment I'll be bringing -

Paulman P - a nice copy of a 1960 Precision, formerly of our very own For Sale forum (edit: has a Monty's P pickup)

G&L JB (the silver heavy flake one)

Fender Player Jazz

Might also bring my '94 Ibanez Soundgear, although it's currently half way through a pickup swap with a Wilde (Bill Lawrence) PJ set and needs some additional setup. Might be an opportunity for curious ears to hear those pickups in action.
