GreeneKing Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Being as I tend not to come onto BC socially any more (too much other stuff going on) I nearly missed this. I’ll be there. Hope to have my Zoot medium scale J and P and a pair of Warmoth P basses. Thank you for getting this up and running again and I’ll put the word out where I can. Peter 2 Quote

80Hz Posted Sunday at 13:56 Posted Sunday at 13:56 This sounds like a great idea and thanks to @rwillett for organising 😀 I'm a definitely maybe. I have family in the area so easy to make an excuse to pop over. I don't have a lot of gear to add to the pool but it would be awesome to hang out. I assume the "format" is an instrument and gear petting zoo? 😆 1 Quote

I may well change the title of this thread to just that We have family in York (Fulford) so we come over to York regularly. Partly to see family but also to check on what Geoff has in RWB guitars on Bridge St. Do not worry about bringing lots of gear, I can assure if it's anything like last year, you'll have lots of things to pet. The aim is to have some fun, play stuff you might never get the chance to play, marvel at @LukeFRC pedal collection, wind the volume up whilst comparing various bass heads and generally chill out. Come and go as you please, it's exceptionally laid back, its a small village and we might get a few people pop their noses in, but its minimal fuss. You are very welcome, it's two hours or so depending on traffic through Harrogate and Ilkley. Rob 3 Quote

Excellent, it's in my diary! I need to acknowledge a former teacher who was involved with early music for coining the term "instrument petting zoo" - in reference to the post-performance curiosity of audience members to assorted lutes, viols, theorbos, etc! 1 Quote
