Dual IEC cable Q

Hi folks

I have a Blackstar combo with powered extension cab, so therefore each has a kettle lead and I need two plugs.

Both of these leads are a bit short so I was going to replace them. It got me thinking - could I get a single plug with two male IEC connectors like this one without blowing me or (preferably) anyone else up?

Cheers

these cables are very useful providing you are within the power limits, I'm using a 4 into 1 cable to connect up my recording setup, only a single socket for the whole rack case, i went through each rack unit and checked that they had proper internal fuses and that the whole lot was well under the rating of the cable. my setup goes to an IEC socket as well which limits it to 10A but i'm well under that.

Thanks both, I'll have to check the input power rating (what will that be given in, amps?)... I thought it would be a similar thing to plugging in two IEC cables into an extension strip.

Are the Kettle End in the Y long enough?

Im not sure on that particular model but I can find one that is. When stacked on top of each other the inputs aren’t that far away from each other.
