ahpook
Anyone know where's the best place to buy DemonFX stuff in the UK? Affordaboard seem to have been very light on stock for a while.
Lozz196
It would be difficult to make it look any less like a Tonehammer, their designers must have worked really hard on that aspect……..

PinkMohawk
Honestly, I kind of respect how little they care about opening themselves up to copyright infringement or whatever the proper term is.
stewblack
I've asked Affordaboard and he's in touch with DFX about the Tone Hammer clone. Hopefully we'll have some pricing information soon.

It will be a preamp, a DI and a dirt pedal, for those on a budget, but if you only have £60 to spend, you would never be buying a proper Aggie one anyway. I think these guys should just do their own thing, by all means take influence for the guts, plenty of others do, but surely coming up with their own style and then applying it across their range shouldn't be that tricky?

But that's their USP the silly names, the matching cases Anyway your point is the point. I am not splashing out hundreds of pounds I don't have to just try something. I don't pride myself on the labels on anything I own and would rather buy five 60 quid pedal than one with a name on it. I have no idea if these pedals are remotely similar to the originals and I'll never know because I won't be buying the originals any time soon. If my choice of pedal upsets you then I'm truly sorry. I never buy an effect pedal with the aim of hurting someone's feelings.

That would be a rather elaborate way to intentionally annoy someone 😎
LukeFRC
The middle aisle of pedals. I bet it sounds almost identical - I think it would be as harder to design your own pedal with similar features than do a direct copy
