Chowny SW strings

Just picked up one of these. Will regular shortscales (specifically D’addario chromd flats) fit?

 

I know Mustangs actually need medium

length strings because of the through body construction. Just want to check these will fit well.

Ok, so I got the measuring tape out and this is going to be a medium scale job as there’s through body stringing.

 

Ordered.

You may find that the intonation makes string through impractical, the strings shown are medium scale TI flats. Short scale Labella's are too short even using top loading- they went onto another bass.  The strange string angles are an artefact of the close camera shot.
