Markbass 3/10 cabs

Hi has anyone tried the Markbass 3/10 cabs that are around on the major retailers? They seem super light and pretty powerful for their size. 

Just wondering if anyone has had a play through one or owns one? No retailers near me carry them to allow a quick play through one. 

 

They all run at 6ohms. Ones called the 'pure' model and the others called 'energy'. No clue on the difference....might be the type of tweeter.

Different speakers and tweeters.

 

The Energy ones use the same as the older cabs. The Pure use a new model and apparently is more modern.

They look good. I like the idea of a 3x10. Enough grunt for most situations and lighter than a 4x10. A shame the MB isn't taller and slimmer, with the drivers in a line. I had an Epifani UL310, which I really liked, but it was pretty well the same size as a 4x10 and awkward to transport, store and carry up the stairs to my flat.

Yeah I think they look good. Just surprised they haven't caught on. Well under 20 kilos is a cinch to move

I'd be all over them if they were vertical.

 

Instead I'm looking at the Energy 2x10 instead.
