My first thought was Ibanez, but I can't find anything like it.

Tried a reverse image search as well and drew a blank.

My first thought was a ESP Bottom Bump………but the upper horn contour isn’t quite correct.

 

i’m also thinking it might be from Ibanez, but can’t for the life of me give a model suggestion.

Quite a chunky bridge that I don’t recognise and large pole pieces on the pickups, I’d be interested to know what it is too , is that 24 frets

Neck: bolt-on, 24 frets, maple, widish.

 

Body: very asymmetric. This is distinctive, and should lead us to the right brand.

The inward curve on the bottom of the bass is ringing some bells, but, for want of a better word, that 'ledge' carved into the side is really distinctive but doesn't ring any bells at all.

 

Not sure I've ever seen a bass that has that before.

Judging by the extremely underwhelming poplar burl facing, I'd say it was a modern Spector.

I've definitely seen that flourish around the rear strap button before - probably AliExpress as I do go roaming there fairly often.

AliExpress BTB knockoff? The carve and accuracy of the dark veneer stripe looks too good for that though, they're usually super wonky.

 

 

That bridge looks like a cheap import I had on on my Shine 6er and also on my old Cort for a bit, can't see enough of it to be sure though.

Still no closer to working out what this is - the bottom edge of the body has kind of been stolen/inspired by Dingwall maybe? But the rest of it looks pretty generic.

Funny how even with the power of the internet, you still can't answer everything.

I just lifted my Jamstik off the stand (it was hidden behind something else) and the reason for the familiarity of that flourish round the strap button becomes clear.

 

 

I'd done some research when I first got this, and it's based on an Asmuse Leaf.

 

 

However, although they make basses, they're all headless, which is a Good Thing in some ways but doesn't help with an ID on the subject at hand.

Japanese manufacturer first seen in the 80s with the Tune BassManiac.

 

I may be wrong cause the cut in the bottom of the body looks the wrong way round. 

 

Looks like a nicely made instrument.
