The guy is just fantastic. You might remember him from his incredible voice and live playing on a piano and his guitar with a loop pedal. A great multi instrumentalist. He reminds me of Ole Borud.

I’m a big fan. Loved all the looping stuff he was doing a few years ago, the Bauhaus gig on YouTube is particularly great. His studio stuff is really cool too, first two albums are fantastic. His 3rd, Islander, was recorded here on the IOW at Chale Abbey Studios (about a 30min drive away for me) and was produced by Paul Butler from The Bees (top pop fact). 😊

Reviving this to add my love. He's one of my favourite artists, I've seen him several times in several set ups/line ups and every time he's been utterly killer. His Walk With Me live album is easily one my desert island disks. Met him a couple of times at shows too and he seems like a great guy

Great to hear. You might want to check out Jarrod Lawson if you haven't done already. He's a superb pianist with an incredible voice.. saw him live at the Jazz Cafe..

Also saw Bernhoft at the Jazz Cafe this year, solo. Wasn't sure about it as I want to see him with a band so much, but the solo show was incredible and I never felt i missing out! The Stop/Shutup EP is a personal favourite of mine!

His bass playing on songs like Streetlights, So Many Faces, Fly Away really gets me going!

His groove is just killer. I was fortunate enough to see him with The Fashion Bruises after the Humanoid album, it was in manchester academy 2 and there was about 50 people there, all 4 of them on stage were so so good
