Bit of an impulse buy (brand new) during the summer, egged-on by my wife who was really taken with it as I was noodling in the shop. I've been really happy with four strings for a long time now, so surprised myself that I was so keen on a 5 string again.

I love the look, the lightweight body and so on. But, in playing it more, the combination of belly, short-arsedness, small hands and the bass' body shape means I'm struggling to comfortably play the low notes on the B and E strings. Home use only.

As such, I wonder if there's any fellow bass chatters out there who have the 4 string; non-multi-scale 5 string or possibly the short scale, multi-scale 5 string version they'd be up for swapping? Specific models would be: EHB1500, EHB1505, EHB1505SMS.

I would consider a part-ex for the non-fancy would types: EHB1000. EHB1005 maybe even EHB1005F.

My bass is pretty much in as-new condition, comes with the gig-bag, ramp, adjustment tool and unopened set of Schaller strap locks (shop couldn't find the ones that came with the bass!).

I've but £1100 as a price, but largely because I have to say something. Really would just like to swap or part-ex as outlined above. If someone wanted to offer me a deal involving a Yamaha BBP34 or BB1024x, a nice Fender American P or J Bass, I'd be up for that potentially.

I'm in Chepstow, happy to travel a bit to meet up and do a deal.

Only got the one pic handy, happy to provide more when I can.
