Minininjarob Posted November 9 Share Posted November 9 I tried a MB combo and thought it sounded great but I just cannot get past the yellow colour. I know it shouldn’t bother me but I cannot stand the colour yellow (or orange) for some weird reason. If they did them in white or black as well I’d be looking to buy one as I picked up one of their 4x10 cabs recently and was so shocked at how light it was, it’s beyond ridiculous how light they are. I’m doing a lot less EQ fiddling than I was with my old cabs, most of the time I’m leaving the EQ at the 12 O clock position apart from reducing the bass when I turn it up louder. bigthumb Posted December 1 Share Posted December 1 (edited) I’d be looking to go vertical 4x10 with my Energy cabs. When funds allow I’ll be getting a second cab. Most likely overkill for the places we play but it’s great for hearing yourself I found. I used to do this with 2 EBS cabs and it sounded great. Lozz196 Posted December 1 Share Posted December 1 Might be overkill in terms of what volume they can put out but having a set up which makes it easier to hear yourself has to be a bonus.
