Spector Legend 5 3-Band 35" scale Bass Guitar, Offers? £425 Bristol

This very capable bass that is well gigged. These highly specked Korean Legends, were only produced for a couple of years (2004-2006?) before reverting back to a more basic spec. Probably because it coincided with the release of, and competed, with some Czech models.

A lovely tone and works well with my pedals. It has been a joy to own and used regularly. Great basses these!

This one has a few battle scars. The most notable are a patch of missing paint on the back of one of the horns and a crack at the base of the stacked eq control. Neither would be noticed by an audience. 

NOTE: Was looking for £400 but will consider offers?

 

Spec includes:

35"scale neck

EMG Hz J & Humbucker pickups

EMG B30 3-band circuit

Figured maple top

5 bolt neck

It is currently wearing flats but I will change back to rounds

My only reason for sale is that I have seen something else on BC that I fancy

 

Note: Case and delivery not included, although I may be able to find a case if needed.

I love this. Given Korea and the year there’s a good chance it was made by World Musical Instrument Company, Incheon. Ibanez used them at the same time - I’ve got a 2006 Korean BTB which is Japanese quality levels. I suspect this is probably the same! GLWTS

Thanks, I played one years ago so grabbed this one when I saw it. I really like the sound and feel of them. I have a Peerless version of the Jack Cassidy as well

Well, I have been trying to work it out using the "standing on the scales with the bass and without method", but my scales aren't that good. it is somewhere around the 4.3-4.4kg mark. 

I thought it may be less as it is the lightest of my three 35" scale 5's. Best I can do I'm afraid.
