Grahambythesea
I know that most pickguards on a precision have a piece of foil stuck to the underside presumably to provide some screening. Back in the late 70s / early 80s Andy Piercy was bassist with After the Fire had a blue precision with a clear pickguard and you could see the rout & wiring. I have a blue precision and fancy a clear pickguard but I am concerned that not having screening may cause problems. Can anyone give me advice on this? Stub Mandrel
It's pretty much redundant if you use a shielded cable for the loom. You also need to ensure the pot bodies are grounded.
