Might be worth trying them again? Telly bods love a back story and the delays, broken promises and such like are all the right kond of stuff to make good telly…

True - I don’t even know if it’s still going, didn’t Knowlesy get in bother for doing adverts or something.

I haven’t watched terrestrial TV in years.

That’s a fair point - I haven’t watched the Beeb for donkeys’ 😁

There was a good point made earlier about end-month payday for some folks. So, as agreed with Andy, I will run the page at least to Thursday 31st and see where things stand at that time.

Been a bit slow on the uptake. Just tuned in and wondered why your for sale ad was up to 9 pages! Well, now I know... heartwarming!

Done and all the best man👍

Surely we have some folk on here with contacts?

Unfortunately, whilst I do have contacts, they're more of the insurance-job/kneecapping types as opposed to builders, plasterers and sparkies, so I won't be volunteering their services!

I think Nick Knowles may be on Strictly this year, but I'm not sure

All round wonderful. It made my wife and I go a bit dewy-eyed in the checkout queue at Costco when I told her about it and we've just seen the Iris video and gone full weepy. Chances to reference Vivian Stanshall should never be missed so I'll say that this has backed up Aunt Florrie's credenda that musicians are nice people.

<Thread derail>

I have just spotted this in the background of the photo on the first page.

Making an adapter so a Zoom H4n fits into a microphone stand is a great idea. Why didn't I think of that and save myself from lugging a tripod about for the past 10 years?

Thanks Andy.

It was an accessory with the H4, I’m sure Amazon or eBay will be your friend
