I know it is just wood and metal but there’s nothing like a noodle on a bass to turn your mood around! Thankfully you still have the ripper 🙂

Had a great rehearsal last night.

The singer announced a few weeks ago that he’s been hiding a gretsch baritone from me for the year I’ve been in the band…

But it’s now in the rack - I’m not only playing it, but one very old idea has resurfaced and I might end up singing 😳

Nothing wrong with fart jokes.

No, not a thing…

just 4am, a miniature hand on either side of my face

“SSH daddy…listen, I just farted”

Is an absolute liberty…

Ah yeah, I miss Jaco (my old cat, don’t ask)…

he’d scoot across the bed…crop dust…and then run away.

The dogs just monopolise any space.

”we’re not letting them on the bed”

I went away for a weekend with @walshyand they stayed on the bed…

That was in March…

bloody nightmare.

Iris joins us every morning around 4 - she struggles with comfort (we’re 4 mattresses in and cannot get one for her - but…all the other kids have various bloody posh mattresses now 🙄😆

That is a very generous donation. Well done.

I see that we have 22 days to go and we have reached £6,000. Given Andy's water tap isn't going to magically move from one side of the house to the other, it would make sense to move the target yet again. However that's not my call to make :)

Thanks

Rob

An(other) incredibly generous donation has now taken the total to £6,000 😍

Really puncturing a hole in that "Aberdonians are tight gits" stereotype!

How was copper wire invented? Two Aberdonians fighting over a penny...

How do you kill an Aberdonian? Throw 2p in the path of an oncoming bus...

Thank you, I'm here all week, try the veal etc.

PS, if anyone fancies an XXL high quality Japanese flannel work shirt, @Old Man Riva will kindly put the proceeds into the JustGiving pot.

Ad here:

Despite a few near misses, the shirt sale didn’t quite go to plan (though, hopefully, there’s a chance it’s still going to go to a good home). So, (much to Andy’s amusement I’m sure) in the style of The Addams Family at an auction, I’m buying it myself.

Self: “You’re an idiot. Do you know how these things work?”

Self: “No, YOU’RE an idiot”

Self: “What are you going to do with the money you’re spending on buying a shirt from yourself?”

Self: “Donate it to that amazing fundraiser Clarky set up”

Self: “Ah, okay. It’s a brilliant cause. You’re still an idiot, mind”

Self: No, you’re an idiot”

Wife: “Can you not talk out loud. It’s really distracting and I’m trying to read a book…”

Keep on keeping on! xx

An Aberdonian kid says to his dad "Can I have 50p?"

The dad says "40p? !What do you want 30p for?!"

Thank you mate - The original gesture was amazing, the fact you’ve then bought yourself a beauty of a shirt is just superb xxx
