Really puncturing a hole in that "Aberdonians are tight gits" stereotype!

How was copper wire invented? Two Aberdonians fighting over a penny...

How do you kill an Aberdonian? Throw 2p in the path of an oncoming bus...

Thank you, I'm here all week, try the veal etc.

Neep - I think you'll know the one about the two taxis crashing in Aberdeen?

46 people were injured (all believed to be passengers).

Tomorrow is the final day of the 14 day period I have to wait to withdraw the funds (albeit the fundraising page can be left open for up to a year). Just sayin'

So this is for when the earlier donations can be drawn down?  So later donations will still be subject to the 14 day rule? So its in fits and bursts?

Thanks

As I understand it, the 14 day rule is for the first draw down. It's to allow background checks to ensure its not money laundering (I think). Once that step has passed, I assume the balance of funds (reflecting donations post 14 days) can be withdrawn as and when. So could run for as long as wanted, but with a max of 1 year. I have emailed JG but their response times are sloooooowwwww

Agreed. It sounds like the work is going to take more effort than originally thought so every penny will count. Leave it running says I.

I've been playing with alternatives to Barefoot Buttons for my pedalboard and have this design which I shamelessly stole off Thingiverse. These work really well, they are plastic rather than metal and fit 10mm foot switches. They do not fit the smaller foot switches yet, e.g. my own Mod Dwarf, but I'll adapt the design when I have time.

These are in sparkly blue as thats whats on both my printers at the moment. but I can do red, black, white, Prusa Orange (thats the orange you see on Prusa printers), yellow and any other colour that I have lying around.

I'll do these for a £1 each, you tell me the colours and I'll pay the cheap postage in the UK, you simply make a donation to this fund for Iris. So if you want 10, make a £10 donation and let me know and I'll print them up and send them to you. Any special requirements drop me a message and I'll see what I can do.
