One is apparently worth a few quid…

Will set about that in the next week

I don’t need one, I don’t need one, I don’t need one! 😬

Interesting, I tried to 'like' Andyjr's post and got an automated message saying I had reached the limit of post responses. (1) who knew such a thing existed? And (2) if I do not post a response to a BCer comment from now onwards, I am not being rude!

Question, does it max out and stop at the target or keep going?

From what I understand of Just Giving is that it keeps going until the originator closes it.

We did a charity walk for a family who’s child has similar condition to Iris - their local council wouldn’t provide a wheelchair for their kid.

The chair was £650, think we got them £2000 in the end.

For Iris’ ward at RMCH we did another thing - that went on until we donated/closed.

think that was £1200.

Yes, it’s a thing. I forget what the limit is within a 24 hour period, but it starts to replenish, bit by bit. It was increased a while back, but a thread like this is going to rip through your allocation.

In the spirit of this thread, can we give him some of our responses? 🤣

Can we set up a Just Giving page so we could donate our unused quota of 'likes'? 😁

(Edit) You beat me to it @Grooverjr 😉
