Great player - saw him live at the Southport Jazz frestival a few yeras back - brilliant live and a great band too.

Not sure what bass he's using though... plays upright too - superb

Great player with a wonderful tone, his basses were made by a guy from the Gibson custom workbench. They sound really nice.
