Craigmartini
Hello all, I am posting links to an interview I did for "Random Chatter Music" that just got published. It's long but so far I have had great feedback on it. It's in two parts, here are the links: http://metalichicka.wordpress.com/2009/05/...i-by-jenn-0509/ http://metalichicka.wordpress.com/2009/05/...jenn-0509-pt-2/ I hope you like it! beerdragon
Ok , I did'nt read it all but why does your guitar player wear headphones, by the way i think you have the better voice.
Craigmartini
The Guitar player you refer to is the one and only Paul Gilbert! He wears the headphones to protect his ears, because years and years of loud music has givin him a lot of hearing loss. He is trying to preserve what he has left! Paul rocks! Thank you for checking it out! Craig

RhysP
You play with Paul Gilbert? I'm impressed!! I Love Paul Gilberts playing - there's no-one to touch him IMO. The thing that sets him apart from all the other shredders is his great sense of humour & his ability to write great catchy pop/rock songs. paul h
Haven't read the whole thing yet but gotta love them cheap basses!
molan
Wow Craig, that's amazing that you play with Paul G. I saw him a couple of years back playing at a charity gig with Vai, Satriani, Lukather, Dweezil Zappa, & a host of others & I thought he had the best tone of the night. Not a bad couple of bass players as well - Billy Sheehan & Dave LaRue! Must be great going on tour with a genuine living legend
Craigmartini
Hey Guys, Thanks for the nice comments! Yes it is amazing to work with Paul. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and I have never seen anyone play the way he does. His picking is so unbelieveably clean, fast, and perfect. His wife Emi is an incredible pianist as well. In Pauls band, she plays all the harmony and doubled lead guitar parts on keys! Not to mention his drummer Jeff Bowders is a MONSTER player, he is also a super cool guy to hang with. Paul h "Haven't read the whole thing yet but gotta love them cheap basses!" Haha Yeah, I have always had good luck with cheap Yamaha's. I have owned several higer priced basses but I never keep them because I like my cheap Yamaha's better!
