The door’s always open - if anyone wants a fiddle with it 😉

That’s how I got hit with the injunction in the first place….

Donated!

Iris is a gorgeous name... Named after the Goo Goo Dolls song?

Sort of, more a happy accident that there’s a cool song…but it’s her favourite in the car 👍🏼🤣

Plumber booked in to look at this on Thursday.

OT team?

”Iris is our priority, we’ll be out to see her and your house in the next 28 days”

”you’ve seen the house, the architects saw the house, you’ve 3d digital scans and models of the house…”

The “lead member” who’s overseen, and scuppered the entire thing is a very prominent name.

Unbelievable.

Anyhow. Just need to say another round of thank yous.

😘😘😘😘😘

Thank you so much - my reactions have been shut off for today 😂

That’ll be the restraining order and the gaffa tape working seamlessly together

When I clicked onto the Justgiving link earlier today I was literally gobsmacked by what had happened. I mean, I always knew that the bassists were the eternal good guys of bands but this is genuinely moving stuff.

The sight of Iris gleefully dancing to her dad's music a couple of weeks ago, ear defenders in place and at times hand-in-hand with another person using a wheelchair, the two spiralling around each other, is an image that will live with me forever. You've done a beautiful thing for a beautiful family.

Done and so honoured to be part of this. Only just found it on BC.

Wishing Andy @AndyTravis and his family all the very best.

@Clarky you are a very special BC'er and huge respect for getting this on its way.

Dave.

I've always thought Basschat was full of opinionated, selfish, ignorant, boorish people who I'd cross a busy motorway to avoid.

However my opinion of you all has improved slightly.

Bump.

That's just ignorant and boorish, Dave.  😉

In other news: 101% now, and we can't have that as teacher once told us you can't have more than 100% (I told him he was wrong, but he wouldn't have anything of it).
IOW: @Clarky , there's work to be done! 😀

Good job, BC!

So now you would still run across a major a-road to avoid us, but would put up with the pedantry until the motorway had cleared a bit?

Bumping bump.

Simply incredible what a group of BC'ers can accomplish to help a fellow bassist.

Makes me feel so proud to be part of Basschat.

Another wee bump to the top.
