Just seen this on facebook, London 1/6/25. https://www.bassday.eu/ and https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61567163921386
 

Looks like the venue is Magazine London, next door to the O2 Arena, I've seen the address Ordnance Cres, London SE10 0JH somewhere on the above links. https://magazinelondon.co.uk/

 

A few names have been announced, but not much more at the moment.

 

Anyone know anything more?

Nope, I have been looking at this and have asked for info and prices for a stand. A dedicated bass show could be cool

Bass Day Europe, in London. Whilst geographically correct, this might have folk of a certain political persuasion squirming in their chairs. ;):lol:

 

I did not use the B word, I may have alluded to it, but I think I’ve got away with it. :D

My 41st Birthday…

 

Not sure if listening to a bass show is what I fancy for the day, I used to run stands at the Manchester Bass Day.

 

I can still hear it now…

We are still in Europe last time  I looked ya plank,just not in the EU ,have a word with yourself matey.

I know nothing (pretty much in general too 😜) but I'll be keeping an eye on this.

lol, yeah I did a few shows with my guitar amps in 2007/08. The noise!! Fun though

I think it might be a hoax. It's a fresh site, no links to businesses. There is no way to verify the veracity that this event will actually take place, and it will be on behalf of this website.

Could be interesting, but none of the names mentioned so far seem to have posted anything about it…

The line up looks very SBL heavy so far. Yolanda’s great but it would be nice to have a wider range of names on the list. I’ll be watching with interest to see who else signs up and who is exhibiting and then make my decision closer to the time.

I'd be happy to pay £20ish for Yolanda, Moto and Janek alone. Plus it's pretty much on my SE London doorstep so all being well I'll be there.

Have to agree to be honest. It's got a bit of a Bass Review Magazine feel to it so far.

Clashing/competing events? One event building/cashing in on the other? One event with two halves? Doubt anyone’s going to spend 2x£20 on very similar looking events a day apart… even if they’ve travelled down to London for one of them. They’ve got to dilute each other’s ticket sales. All very curious but both their PR/web/socials teams need taking outside and given a good talking to.

Did you get a response? Looking like around £750 + VAT for a 2x2 booth area.
