I've now received an email confirming that my ticket purchase cost has been refunded to me.

It's still extremely annoying though that I'm out the travel and hotel cost.

 

It would be good if Janek Gwizdala and Ian Allison manage to arrange a get together for the Sunday.

Most hotel bookings allow you to cancel without penalty this far out.

I booked mine without this option with Premier Inn as I knew I was deffo going as I was exhibiting. Can't refund so thats dead money

Shame it's been cancelled.

Currently watching Janek Gwizdala's latest video regarding the cancellation and the fact that him and Ian Martin Allison are still looking at doing something in London.

I hope they do manage to put something together, I would definitely get a ticket to see them both.

If peeps are interested in having a hang with Janek and IMA and others then you need to post in comments on Janek's YT vid I linked to a couple of posts back, as he responded to my suggestion he and Ian come on here saying he doesn't do socials and no longer has login on here or TB

Well,the email advising me that the refund for the ticket cost (£47) was on its way to me, was received on Friday 18th April 24.

 

It's now Wednesday 23rd April and the refund status is still showing as "Pending". Not impressed.

I have sent Ian a short message over IG, not sure if he will get to it but worth the try 😄

Just received an email saying the refund is complete  - not showing in my account though. I'll check tomorrow.

Janek will be updating on the matter in a day or two. Looks promising though 

 

Edit*: this is regarding a Janek and Ian get together.

Just wanted to avoid confusion with the refunds, as it's a completely separate matter.

Janek just posted the below on his YouTube channel.

 

They have managed to secure a venue in North London, in Dalston, on the 1st of June.

 

Tickets on sale, I bought mine just now and with the exchange from US to GBP it comes to around £35.
