Hello all, I am new to the forum and have been out of the bass game for about 20 years. I am back now though so please don't judge me too harshly for defecting to the 6 strings temptations. I have joined here for general help and to also help others, where I can. I am a bit out of touch with modern bass guitar offerings and will no doubt have a lot of questions around that.

Hi @PaulThePlug When I said 6 string temptation, I was talking about guitar not bass. I have considered 5 and 6 string bases but I am not sure I would know what to do with either of them, I have only ever played 4 string. I understand that more strings means more range and potentially versatility so I guess the issue for me is knowledge and confidence.
