2022 Music Man Stingray Special 4H - Smoked Chrome - 3.9kg

Purchased from BassBros back in July in a moment of weakness. I absolutely love this bass but I have another I'm not allowed to sell and really don't need two.

One of the nicest necks I've seen on a special, it's almost holographic as the light changes. Complete with original hardcase.

Superb condition bar a minute scuff on headstock edge and two super small marks on neck, one can just be felt with a fingernail behind 7th fret and a small indent/scratch behind the 12th which falls behind the palm; both are super minor. See last two photographs below.

 

Paid £1999 plus postage, looking for £1900. Collection/inspection welcome in Orpington BR6. Happy to meet up to an hour ish away. Happy to post at buyer's risk and cost, have suitable packaging materials. No trades ta.

Really lovely figured neck on this one which looks lush on the roasted maple. Plus the camera never catches the sparkle of the smoked chrome. It's a real looker in person.

Agree with the above, these look amazing in the flesh, especially when they catch the light. Have the pickguard screws been changed?  They certainly don't look like those normally fitted.

Good spot, hadn’t noticed this. Not by me, but they should be the same as the ones on the control plate I believe i.e.:

I’ve been looking at these basses and this one looks nice. 
The scratch plate screws look a bit concerning? Have you found out any news on that as they look a bit smaller than the control plate screws ?

with that in mind plus the couple of marks etc 

would you be willing to take a bid on this bass ?

I do find it odd that with Music Man the necks generally seem to be complete luck of the draw.  You get the odd spec that vaguely says "figured maple neck" and they can be anything from a plain old bit of maple to the deepest flame.  My PDN has a gorgeous deep roasted birdseye maple neck, whereas others i've seen from the same run are pale and the most ordinary grain imaginable.
