....and for the 5 stringers amongst us they have these at Amazon  It's a long time since I bought a good set of 5 strings for £15 a pack 😮

 

I have used EXL170-5 strings before but to be honest I did have to do some searching to try and work out what EXL170-5TP were......doh!.....Twin Pack 🤣

My twin pack was originally scheduled for the 12th Dec......now it seems they're coming tomorrow! 😃 I too am a member of the Circle but my points collection is growing at a much slower pace than my "wants list" 🤣

Yes, mine were meant to be next day and arriving on Friday 15th but still nothing. Checking the tracking details it says they are in Bergamo, Italy. I online chatted with an Amazon rep yesterday and was promised that I would be getting them. Maybe they are all being shipped from Italy?

I ordered four packs (two different orders, each order for two twin packs)

 

The first two packs came from France. Delivery took two days for this order.

 

The most recent two packs are coming from Italy.

Scheduled for delivery on Thursday for these two packs.

Can you no find any D'addario XLs before then?  People must have overdone it a bit - price is back up to about normal now.

I think Amazon would have experienced loads of bargain-seeking bassists placing orders.

 

When the twin pack was shoeing as £18.99, the single set of the same strings was also listed at £18.99!!

Mine arrived today. Also posted from Italy a few days ago. These are still available but delivery date is now Feb 25! These should keep me going for a few gigs
