Blackstar Unity 250ACT - 250watt Active Cabinet.
£220

Recommended Posts

Blackstar Unity 250watt active cabinet with a single 15 inch speaker.

It is in good overall condition with just a few minor marks in/on the tolex but nothing that affects the structure or sound.

These can be used in multiples, each time adding another 250 watts to your rig.

I have only used this in my home with a PJB Session 77 (now sold) sitting on top which certainly gave a nice sound - not that the wife and children agreed!

These are very nice units, I use mine for practice and rehearsals and simply plug in my bass and don’t worry about amp tone etc, even passive basses sound pretty decent through it without a pre 👍

Thanks for this Chris, I had no idea this was possible! I will try it out later!

Thanks for the tip Chris. I tried it out and it worked really well with my Precision! So simple, just plug in and go! I also liked the fact there is no fan noise, so great for quieter home use.

A trick I first learned with an Ampeg SVT-300 power amp through which my Precision sounded very woody and natural by comparison with going through a preamp first. Not sure it works with all power amps, in fact I’m sure it doesn’t, but I always check just in case 👍
