Gunsfreddy2003 Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Hello, I have a number of basses and thought I had allen keys to fit all of the bridges and adjust string height but I can't seem to find on that fits an American Professional Fender Precision can anyone help with correct size and link to buy from please? Just bought a multi-one from Screwfix and none fit the Fender yet they fit other basses I have. Bloody annoying! Quote

Since posting I have found out that it is 1/16" which converts to rought 1.5mm but a 1.5mm key doesn't fit (not sure why) a builder friend had a set of imperial sized keys and yes 1/16" fits absolutely perfectly. Why they can't use a universal size for all bridges I don't understand! Quote

So yes, all Made-In-USA instruments will be inches and fractions of an inch for spanners, sockets and allen keys for, not only bridges, but all other hardware too... Quote
