I bought it last year from the original owner, who received it from Status at the tail end of the pandemic, and thinking he wasn't going to get out to play it, put it straight into storage, so it’s pretty much factory-fresh. As lovely as it is, I just find myself gravitating back to my extra-long scale Laklands, so I’ve decided to move it on. As you may know, although Status are now back in limited production, Rob isn’t working with carbon graphite anymore, so these basses are only going to become harder to come by, especially in near-new condition like this one. Mahogany wings, walnut tone block, flame maple top with a black pinstripe, bolt-on neck fitted with blue neck-edge LEDs, Gotoh 350 tuners, standard 18mm bridge spacing, 4.1kg. Complete with a Status-branded Hiscox case and all the original paperwork. Collection is preferred from near Woking in Surrey (GU23), but I can ship within the UK at the buyer's risk. £2500 + shipping. Sorry, no trades please.
