I bought it last year from the original owner, who received it from Status just as the pandemic started, and thinking he wasn't going to get out to play it, put it straight into storage, so it’s pretty much factory-fresh. As lovely as it is, I just find myself gravitating back to my extra-long scale Laklands, so I’ve decided to move it on. As you may know, although Status are now back in limited production, Rob isn’t working with carbon graphite anymore, and these basses are unlikely to ever be made again, so they’re only going to become rarer and more collectible. Mahogany wings, Walnut tone block, Flame Maple top, bolt-on neck fitted with blue neck-edge LEDs, complete with a Status-branded Hiscox case and all the original paperwork. Collection is preferred from near Woking in Surrey (GU23), but I can ship within the UK for £30 at the buyer's risk. £2500.
