Would still want an OE! The Celebrity pedals one looks tacky and bulky. Although it sounds good. Could have placed the tube like Markbass or Revolt.

If the intent was to imitate the placement of the tubes like the Fliptop but in a pedal format then it’s understandable.

Yes, the Origin stuff holds up really well against the “real thing”; I love the two I have.

I agree. For £600 the Celebrity pedal looks aesthetically unappealing. Could also do with a more robust tube cage. I’d still like to try one if I can. I’m not on IG so have only managed to hear one short demo.

The Grand Slampegg has been the best I’ve tried so far.

If Origin do make a B15 they really really really must make the cab sim defeatable on the XLR.

I would own the other 2 already if it just had a little switch to do that.

Worth contacting them via the web form to say so.

They have answered me: no plans for any new versions of the Bassrigs.

As in they don’t plan to do revisions of the existing BassRigs. Still think a B15 BassRig may happen.

Yeah, but I doubt they’ll make the cab sim defeatable if they are sticking with that plan.

True. A lot of the B15 character is the cab anyway so the sim would be used lots.

I wonder if they’re gonna go down a more single pedal route like their Halcyon series but for other effects or try a 1073 pre pedal, an API style pre pedal? There has been a shift to those studio type unit and of course we know the cali was a studio unit.

A new release form Origin is always fun day.
