The Raven Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 I have a Westbury 300 series bass, I think it is a pretty good bass, I was wondering if anyone else in the UK owns one. I have seen a few Track II and Track IV but very few 300 series except in the USA. 1 Quote
Marky L Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 No but I do have a Westbury guitar I bought many years ago. Same style headstock as your bass. All I know is it's a "Standard" and is a double cut. It's very adequate.. which is considerably above my playing level 😁 Quote
The Raven Posted November 15, 2024 Author Posted November 15, 2024 (edited) Yes, I know someone that has a Westbury Standard. Edited November 21, 2024 by The Raven 1 Quote
PaulThePlug Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 (edited) Nice, That is shouting 'Westone' to me... Nice Blue 'n Maple, P-esq and not another P-alike... Edited November 15, 2024 by PaulThePlug 1 Quote
The Raven Posted November 15, 2024 Author Posted November 15, 2024 (edited) Yes, probably from the same Matsumoku stable. Edited November 21, 2024 by The Raven Quote
Grahambythesea Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 Has shades of the Ibanez Roadster about it. Quote

You may already know, but there's a Westbury owners FB group. They'd probably be very interested in seeing it. I've got a Track 2 bass & a Standard guitar (aka The Westbury Synchro Pair) - both excellent instruments which sadly don't get the attention they deserve these days. Quote
dudewheresmybass Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 I also have 2 track 2 basses. Great basses and also modded ( before I acquired them) Quote
The Raven Posted November 18, 2024 Author Posted November 18, 2024 Thank you for the link to the Westbury owners group, much appreciated, I agree that they do not get the attention they deserve. Quote
