£600 6 string basses. TRB 1006.?

I'm looking to pick up a used 6 string. I do like a flat neck back to front. Nothing below 18 mm spacing. I'm looking at a Yamaha TRB1006 as I used to own a TRB6ll and it was amazing but other suggestions are welcome. Does anyone own a 1006?  What are your thoughts on it.

I bought a TRB1006J and it has become pretty much my go-to bass. I also have several Japanese Soundgears and I think the quality is up there. The Yamaha's wide neck and flat (40") radius is amazing—I think there is a reason why they are an industry standard!

Cort A6 was my favourite, but I think the string spacing is tighter than a Yammy.

It's 17mm. The A6 or a BTB, also 17mm, were going to be my suggestions.

I'm sorry, but says who?

Anyway, back to the original question…

I have played and owned a TRB6. They’re lovely basses. I found the radius to be a little too flat for me but that’s personal.

If you can get a mid-90s Japanese version that’s the best one.

Keep an eye out for a used MTD Kingston Z6?

This one has sold now but £600-£700 is a fairly typical price:

Excellent idea, but they are 35 inches scale, just in case it might bother the OP.
