fretmeister Posted Tuesday at 13:58 Share Posted Tuesday at 13:58 Anyone know what colour this is? I can't quite find an actual match and I really like it.
BassAgent Posted Tuesday at 14:03 Share Posted Tuesday at 14:03 I think it used to be Sherwood Green.

Looks like a Custom Shop reliced version of Ocean Turquoise Metallic, although they did do some that were described as "7-Up Green Metallic" but I'm blowed if I can remember which players those particular ones were for. Gorgeous colour, whatever it is 👍
fretmeister Posted Tuesday at 14:14 Author Share Posted Tuesday at 14:14 Other than Sea Foam Green I've never been one for green basses but that is just lovely. I don't know who the guy playing is, I just saw the post on social media.

franzbassist Posted Tuesday at 14:59 Share Posted Tuesday at 14:59 Yes, nicely aged OTM finish. They did a FSR run of these a few years back.
LeftyJ Posted Tuesday at 17:10 Share Posted Tuesday at 17:10 (edited) OTM was a standard finish option for several MIJ Fender basses for years. It's a shame they don't use it more, it's so tasty! I'm with @BassAgent though. When I Google aged OTM most results have a more blueish hue. I think it might very well be an aged sherwood green finish. The Fender Custom Shop do a finish they call "faded aged sherwood green" which looks like this: Edited Tuesday at 17:20 by LeftyJ
JJMotown Posted Tuesday at 17:19 Share Posted Tuesday at 17:19 Looks like a bitsa. Body something like this... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193779194012?var=0&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338268676&toolid=10044&ff=11&customid=EAIaIQobChMI1bXgp_PoiQMVG5RQBh2gBgT1EAQYAyABEgKQYfD_BwE
LeftyJ Posted Tuesday at 17:21 Share Posted Tuesday at 17:21 Hold on, Fender do a faded aged sage green too. Getting closer!
Reggaebass Posted Tuesday at 17:28 Share Posted Tuesday at 17:28 Could be Sherwood as it fades with time but I’m thinking that’s a custom colour, maybe Foam green
BassAgent Posted Tuesday at 20:42 Share Posted Tuesday at 20:42 I'm sticking with sherwood. If you google aged sherwood it looks exactly like this.
JoeS Posted Tuesday at 21:34 Share Posted Tuesday at 21:34 His name is Kaveh Rastegar: The bass is an original 1964 Precision, finish is apparently Ocean Turquoise Metallic but a quick Google suggests that was only introduced in 1965 so… who knows 🤷
Bolo Posted Tuesday at 22:52 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:52 It's white and gold! Or was it blue/black?
