joeystrange Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Not sure whether this should be here, Amps and Cabs or Accessories so please move if this isn’t the place. I have a Fender Rumble 500 head (not the combo) but the zip on the case has been bust for years. Today I contacted Fender about a replacement but they said they don’t make them anymore and suggested an aftermarket option. I had a quick search and not much popped up. Just wondered if anyone else had one of these and had ever managed to find a suitable case for it? Quote
Norris Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 I bought a cover for my combo from Roqsolid. It's been excellent and kept the amp in excellent condition over the years. They don't specifically list a cover for the Rumble head as far as I can see, but do offer custom covers with a range of options like extra pockets for leads, pockets to insert stiffener boards, etc. They are a UK company. It might be worth giving them a call 2 Quote
Lozz196 Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 All depends on the size but I have an Ashdown RM500 and the carry case for that is pretty decent, def worth checking out if the sizes are similar, the RM is: H x W x D (mm) - 86 x 314 x 235 1 Quote

Shops that sell camping equipment should be able to replace a broken zip, or recommend somewhere local to get it done. Cobblers (those that mend shoes the old-fashioned way...) may be able to help, too. For those 'in the know', replacing zips is not rocket surgery. Hope this helps. 1 Quote
