Just saw this active 5 string lefty Shine on ebay, misclassified as a 6 string guitar!

Seems like a great deal for 80 quid -- I would snap it up but I'm not a lefty.

Sorry -- maybe I was little hasty in posting... Not as good a deal as I thought. Looks like they're only £140 odd new on ebay.

I do like Shine stuff though (they do a nice Jazzmaster clone) and lefty basses aren't that common -- I thought it might be helpful.
