It seems many bassists just can't afford a plectrum so resort to finger picking Poor guys, I've even heard they delude themselves into thinking that it's the 'proper' way to play bass. Can you even imagine? Quote

Can you even imagine? Some of them don't even change their strings because they can't afford new ones. They say they like the sound of dead strings. Some of them can't even afford a decent effects board. Quote

We should set up some kind of charity for them, Bassists In Need? £2 a month and you can make sure that a bassist in need is getting the fresh strings, picks and a BDI21 to get them started. 1 Quote

Sponsor a bassist. For just £5 a month you can help toilet train a bassist and teach them basic English. Help integrate them in to normal society and buy them basic hygiene products. Get regular update with photos and you can choose the name for your middle aged bassist. Quote

lemmywinks Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Might be an idea to all write down what we want in a large bold font and just leave it on screen when family members are round. Quote
