Hello all. Help me decide if I want to keep my Jag

Hi All,

I think i had an account on talk bass back in 1999, but havn't engaged with the online bass community since!

I'm based in West Hertfordshire (though northern by upbringing and inclination), and really want to start playing with people again. Hard to do in your 40s and you live in the sticks I'm finding!

The reason I've joined this forum is to seek validation of my desire to shed my trusty OG Fender CIJ Jaguar, and replae it with either a (probably) Fender P or J (or PJ) for my main instrument. I'm starting to go off the Jaguar... it plays well, but the whole Jagginess of  it is starting to get to me. I think I'm a simple soul and would prpobably prefer a passive J.  Anyway, I'm ranting.

Nice to meet you all!

The heart wants what the heart wants. Fender offsets are quirky and it that irks you, it’s time to move onto something else.*

Or, and hear me out, keep the Jaguar in the hope that a new set of strings makes me re-consider AND look into buying a Jazz?

That said, Yipes! looking at current prices, i think I'd be foolish not to sell, since I bought it about 10 years ago from a guitarist I used to play with for £250....
