What a great venue. played there last night with my Police trbute and with U2 Tribe.

Staff were great and Sam the soundman was amazing. My IEM mix was superb.

 

Can't wait to go back

Agree, great venue, played there a few times, always been a great trouble free crowd up for a good evening.

a slightly older audience, well behaved and I spoke to quite a few of them after. And a 10.35 finish. I'd go there to watch bands as it's a earlier start than most pubs

I’ve been talking with them about booking some shows with them. 
the staff certainly are very helpful and friendly. 
hearing this only confirms this.

Great little venue, been there a bunch of times. They have everything on there, from touring, big-name bands to tribute bands, to local first-timers. 

 

Essex (certainly the bit from Southend up to Colchester) actually has a pretty great music scene - lots of places to play, and loads of bands. And people do actually go out to gigs!

Ah man, I've played Chinnery's loads of times and also seen some really good shows there too.

I don't get down there as much as I would like as I'm usually gigging elsewhere myself.

We've always had excellent sound there. I think this was taken straight off the board.

Glad to hear it's still going. Not played there for years but I enjoyed it when I did.
