So firm that you can insert the Jack plug one handed. Superior to a cable tie or Velcro and an improvement on the clip that goes on the strings afterlength. Back in the day Tony Bennett’s bass player had a couple off me and was very happy. Please specify whether you have a conventional silver jack or a black David Gage; the diameters are slightly different. Nine quid should do it including postage UK.
