I had a Tribute M2500 which I really liked but not long afterwards I had to sell it on here as part of a cull to get a bass I coveted a while.

I have 3 G&Ls (2 USA and 1 Tribute, all great) but have been casually looking for a lightweight CLF L1000 for a while….

Arrived today. Only get a little time with it but all signs point to a winner. It's definitely a better feel than my tribute M-2500. But both will have their niche. 

 

If you can score a USA M-2500 do it.

I’ve just noticed that M2500 has through body stringing. Didn’t know G&L had a bridge that did that. Interesting….
