I'm thinking of selling a set of SD Quarter Pounders. What's holding me back is looking at the cover of the J pickup the poles are set in a bit whereras the P are flush! There's nothing to stop the winding going right in. Anyone have thoughts on this. It seems a bit odd but may be normal??

… can the pickup under the

cover be pushed up so the pole pieces are flush or stick out a bit? Normally there is a piece of foam or springs under the pickup in the body cavity that do this when installed IIRC.
